1. Merlin (The loudest Purr)

Merlin holds the record of being the loudest purring domestic cat. On April 2, 2015, Merlin achieved the loudest purr at 67.8db (A). His purr is as loud as a roaring shower. He was adopted from an animal rescue centre by Tracy Westwood(UK).




2. Digda (Skater Cat)

Didga, owned by Robert Dollwet(USA/Australia), holds the world record for the most tricks performed by a cat on a skateboard. On February 5, 2016, Didga performed 24 tricks in just a single minute. Digda completed tricks like rolling over and jumping over a bar while on a moving skateboard.





3. Missi (Longest whiskers)

Missi, owned by Kaija Kyllönen, holds the world record for the longest whiskers on a domestic cat. On December 22, 2005, Missi's whiskers measured 19 centimeters or 7.5 inches. Missi's full name is "Fullmoon's Miss American Pie." She was born in December of 2001.





4. Stewie (Longest Domestic Cat)

Mymains Stewarts Gilligan, also known as Stewie, owned by Robin Hendrickson and Erik Brandsness, holds the record for being the longest domestic cat. On August 28, 2010,  Stewie was measured at 123 centimeters or 48.5 inches long. Stewie sadly passed away in January of 2013. "RIP Stewie."





5. Lilieput (Shortest domestic cat)

9-year-old Lilieput owned by Christel Young from Napa, California, USA, holds the record for being the world's shortest domestic cat. On July 19, 2013, she measured 13.34 centimeters or 5.25 inches from the floor to the shoulders.





6. Sophie Smith (Longest fur)

On November 9, 2013, Sophie Smith owned by Jami Smith(USA), holds the record for having the longest fur of any known domestic cat. Her fur measures 25.68 centimeters or 10.11 inches long.





7. Waffle the warrior cat (Longest jump by a cat)

On January 30, 2018, Waffle the warrior cat achieved the longest jump by a cat. His jump measured 213.36 centimeters or 7 feet.
